Established by George Portess in 1913 as Wheelwrights and Carpenters, ST Portess & Son evolved into general builders during the ownership of Stanley T Portess.
ST Portess & Son Builders are a small family owned and run business based in Frithville, Boston. Nigel Portess, proprietor of the business for the last 30 years, continues to carry out general building works within the Lincolnshire area and has established a wide and loyal customer base.
How do we do it?
Should you require any of our services we will be happy to meet with you to discuss your requirements, no matter how minor you may think they are. We will be happy to discuss your plans and advise you of the best course of action to take, whether at concept or construction phase.
Work will not commence until programmed to suit your requirements and our current workload. We’re not in the habit of disappointing new or old customers by giving unrealistic start or completion dates. We know all too well the disruption building works cause to our customers and aim to minimise this at all times.
Working closely with your chosen architect or design plans, we ensure your needs are met and that any work carried out meets your satisfaction.
Using our small team of time served tradesmen and selected sub-contractors we will turn around quality workmanship every time.
Our aim is to maintain great customer relations and be first choice for future work. Nothing gives us more satisfaction than when our customers are asked by friends and family to recommend a building firm, and the name they give is ST Portess & Son.
